We are a very regular customer of Bartons and have always been delighted with the service, delivery and quality of the fish and chips. Unfortunately on this isolated occasion although the delivery was swift and the order correct the fish was poorly battered over cooked and felt that it had been in the warm display cabinet too long. It did not seam to have been freshly cooked and hot enough for home delivery. I am sure this will be an isolated occasion. We look forward to our next perfect order.

Really not good at all, I've ordered before and it's been good but today ordered at 17.42 with a estimated delivery time of 18.42. I had to call twice to ask where it was and it finally arrived at 19.40- two hours after I ordered. The food was freezing cold and really inedible but at this point my children where hungry. This has put me off ordering again in the future.

Tasted fantastic as always - Chicken huge! Only downside was mu husband had to wait an extra 20 minutes as when he arrived, the order had not been made, but he did say it was very busy! Shows how good the chippy is!

Order every week from these fab ladies wether by going in to collect or having it delivered we love bartons chippy also love how every holidays they do the shop up Halloween was a great display love these girls and they give great make up tips. dont bother with the rest put bartons to the test .
